ABOUT THIS PLACE

The Alexander family moved to beautiful Trout Creek Montana in 2014. Our temporary living space, which became known as the Taj Mahal of temporary living, was located inside a steel building. Now a steel building isn't really much to look at from the outside, but inside is a different story. It became a very cozy and comfortable place to live and consists of 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, laundry, living room, dining area, and a sitting room.

In early 2017 we completed our permanent home on the property and  decided to rent out the "Taj Mahal". Our desire is to provide families, motorcyclists, and hunters with an affordable way to stay in what we feel is one of Montana's best kept secrets, the Clark Fork River Valley.

The Trout Creek Guest House is located 40 miles from the Idaho border on Rt. 200, half way between the towns of Trout Creek and Thompson Falls. We are 1.3 miles off the highway and overlook the Clark Fork River. We make a great base camp for visiting the local area, Sandpoint Idaho, Glacier National Park, or maybe you just want to relax and walk around the property, or down to the river and watch the trains roll by. There are also plenty of places to ride horses and ATV's.

We are not a fancy motel which means we won't be making your bed every day. We are not a party place but would enjoy having a glass of wine or a cold beverage and exchange conversation if you are interested. We are a family operated and faith based place where you can relax in peace and quiet and enjoy all that God has created
